LATELY...

May is here and a lot is happening.

I turn 60 this month! This chapter definitely feels different. Definitely more intentional. Like everything is clicking into place in a way it couldn't have earlier.

osbina just had its first retail launch at ATLAS, Westfield UTC in San Diego. Walking into that space and seeing the cases on display was a moment I will never forget. I also launched our ambassador program this month and the women who have joined are absolutely phenomenal. I am so grateful for each one of them! 

I designed a new signature collection built around my monogram O, launching soon. And we are expanding into new categories. Wrist straps, crossbody phone straps, and osbina signature earrings. A lot of firsts happening all at once.

Someone recommended I do a DNA test and I did it. Turns out I'm allergic to basically everything! Olive oil, red meat, and bread. Everything I love. The adjustment is real. But you find other foods to fall in love with and you keep going. That's the only move. My latest obsession: Kerrygold butter. Healthy fat, incredible flavor. Olive oil who? Have you ever had your DNA tested? I would definitely recommend. It was eye-opening. 

Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there! Whether you have kids, have played a mom figure role, or are a dog mom, I hope you are celebrated or celebrate yourself. The job of a mom is so important and so often the importance goes unrecognized. Not this weekend! Sending you digital flowers, big hugs + love.

They say being sedentary is worse than smoking. I believe it.

Walking is one of the simplest, most underrated things you can do for your body and your mind. I do CrossFit but I also try to get in 7,000 steps a day on top of that. In April I logged 182,003 steps and 76.89 miles. Small habits. Every day. They add up to something real.

BEHIND THE SCENES

Two things I'm launching right now that I'm genuinely excited about.

First. The osbina signature case collection, designed around my monogram O, is launching soon. 

Second. osbina earrings. My favorite pair broke. The ones I wore constantly. And instead of just replacing them I thought, why not design a pair that's actually osbina? I'm always repping the brand anyway. The hat, the shirt, the tumbler. Why not the earrings too? So now I'm working with a manufacturer on CAD drawings for a pair of osbina signature monogram earrings. 

What I didn't know going in: developing new products takes time. A lot of it. More decisions than you expect, more patience than feels comfortable. But every step forward is worth it.

If you are building something and it feels slower than you planned, that's normal. Keep going.
