LATELY...

June snuck up on me. One minute it's Memorial Day weekend and the next I'm deep in new designs, new wrist straps, and collections that have been living in my head for months. We have a lot going on at osbina right now and I am not mad about it.

The theme this month has been nostalgia. It started as a design direction and turned into something much more personal. Toy Story 5 was announced. Taylor Swift dropped "I Knew It, I Knew You" as the soundtrack, and if you follow me on socials, you know, I am literally obsessed! 

June just seems to be that kind of month. School's out (if you have young kids...sending you all the good vibes of survival, opps I mean happy summer), the days literally keep getting longer, and something about the longer days makes you reflective. At least it does for me.

LIFE, CURATED: ON NOSTALGIA

I wrote that quote because I lived it.

There was someone in my life, someone I cared about deeply. We had the most magical time together. His children, his grandchildren, the life we shared for that chapter, all of it was genuinely wonderful. Not complicated. Not painful. Just good. Really, really good.

He eventually moved on with someone else. And I won't pretend that didn't sting. But here's what I've learned: you can look back on something with pure fondness even when it didn't end the way you hoped. And honestly, I wouldn't trade those memories for anything.

That is nostalgia. Not longing for what was. Just honoring that it was real, it was beautiful, and it mattered.

That feeling, the people, the places, the moments from a whole different chapter of your life, is exactly what I hope the Nostalgia Era provokes in you. The kind that start in childhood and somehow keep finding you.

Ninja Luxe Cafe Espresso Machine. I resisted getting a real espresso machine for years. And Happy 60th Birthday! I am never going back. If you are a lover of coffee and espresso...this thing is a game changer for your morning coffee ritual. Highly recommend. The coffee and espresso...unreal. I still need to learn latte art! 

Salt and Stone Body Wash. If you want to smell like you just walked out of a spa, this is it. Clean, luxurious, and the scent actually lasts. Saffron & Cedar has become my new go to scent. I have EVERYTHING in this scent...deodorant, body mist, shower gel and lotion. A small upgrade that makes every shower feel like a moment.
